DC/DC Converter in BBU (baseband processing unit) Application
A Baseband Processing Unit (BBU) is a piece of equipment in a telecommunications network that is used to process baseband signals. The BBU is located in the server room and is connected to the remote radio unit (RRU) via a fiber optic link. One BBU can connect multiple RRUs at one time, to realize the function of distributed base stations.
The power solution for this application normally uses a 48VDC input high-power brick package DC/DC power supply, providing power to the following RF transceiver systems, digital systems, etc. Therefore, there are specific requirements for the load efficiency, ripple noise, power density and other performance of the DC/DC power supplies.

PoL Power Supply in Bearer Network Application
The bearer network, located between the access network and the switch, can be used to transmit various voice and data. Its mainstream power supply solution in this application is as follows:
ACDC main power supply + DCDC power supply + PoL power supply, of which the general demand for PoL power supply is 3~60A, 0.6~5.5Vdc output, 40A and above need to have PM-BUS function.
